For years, distribution and installation of our Windows drivers and managing the Multi-port serial adapters were a big challenge for both Comtrol staff and end-users who were relying on Comtrol products for day-to-day production. Recently, Comtrol’s engineers have developed the following new tools in order to resolve these challenges making it easier for everyone:
- A user-friendly “Windows Driver Wizard” now walks customers through the Windows Driver installation process and deals with Windows Plug-n-Play (PnP) directly to install, update or clean up their system.
- A drivers management console has been developed allowing users to see all of their Windows driver installations in one central location and be able to modify them all right there.
